As Babi tells us, more than 40 years ago, a young archeologist named Thomas Howard, travelled to Egypt with his dog Digger to search for the lost necklace of Cleocatra. They managed to discover half of an artifact, the Bronze of Bastet, but their find triggered a booby-trapped cave-in, which they barely escaped. Forty years later, Thomas ...

Parents often ask us how The Pump Station started. The story begins almost 30 years ago when our now grown children were babies. We met as fellow Lamaze teachers who were working as RNs with a specialization in maternal/newborn health. Friday, January 27 - Got Sleep? Learn in 90 minutes how to help your baby sleep through the night

Sleep becomes the most craved and important need for parents. Parents long for and desire how to help their babies learn to sleep through the night. Parents tend to feel anxious with not knowing "the right" way to help their babies sleep better and longer. This class will teach you the approach that addresses the two main issues that prevent babies, who are at least 6 months old, from sleeping through the night:    1.    Reducing the caloric intake at night to shift those nutritional calories to the daytime 2.    Detaching the assumption from babies that when they wake up they need milk to go back to sleep.
