YOUNG ACTORS ACADEMY: EXCEPTIONAL TRAINING IN THE PERFORMING ARTS

Artistic Director and award winning actress, Susan Duerden, is opening a performing arts academy in Agoura Hills where students will receive exceptional training in acting, singing and dancing. Whether your child is a rising star or would just like to build confidence whilst being creative and having a lot of fun, at YAA they will find a welcoming and supportive environment to learn new skills and discover hidden talents. All classes are taught by professional teaching artists currently working in film, TV and on stage.

Teaching staff:
Susan Duerden, award winning TV, film and West End theatre actress who has worked in the US, UK and Europe. Extensive TV work includes roles in 'LOST', 'The Unit', 'NCIS', 'Vice';  and HBO's 'The Lost Princess'. She has also choreographed several musicals and has worked alongside Michael Jackson and the director/choreographer Kenny Ortega (High School Musical Movie Trilogy). 

Paulette Ivory, the West End and Broadway star who played the title role in Disney and Elton John's musical 'Aida'; and Nala in 'The Lion King'; as well as roles in the TV shows 'Criminal Minds', ‘Numb3rs'; and 'The Young and The Restless'.
