The Bounty of the County

August 11, 2011

The 136th fair, “The Bounty of the County,” is in full swing now through August 14 at the Ventura County Fairgrounds.  Don't miss it this year! The V.C. Fair really has everything you could want from a county fair- rides, food, shows, food, vendor booths, food, motorsports, food, and even fireworks! :)

Don't forget about the special admission days. Ideal days to visit and save some money are the Dollar Days, Youth Day, or Wristband Days. Check out the site for the dates of the discounted days!

And the folks at the fairgrounds want to make sure you have a safe visit , so here is their ABCs of Child Safety at the Fair. Also for kids, this year there are some fun coloring pages on the fair website that you can print out and once your kids have colored them, bring them to the souvenir booth at the fair for a free surprise!

Free concerts by top-name bands are offered with admission. Performances by Trace Adkins, The Four Tops, REO Speedwagon, Lifehouse, Ezequiel Peña, The Beach Boys and Pat Benatar will please just about every musical taste.
