We welcomed fall this weekend with apple picking in Solvang (Yes! We made our tradition happen this year!) As with every year, we headed out to Apple Lane Farms - an adorable apple farm owned by a sweet couple who live on the property. I highly recommend this farm (I know I have said this before....) There are TONS of apples and I guarantee you won't experience our disaster from a couple of years ago. I also saw that a corn maze is opening up this weekend at the neighboring farm plus there is a great little park just down the street. It makes for a great day trip for kids of all ages! Oh, and we have 19 POUNDS of apples, so if anyone has a good apple recipe, please send it my way!!
