Shopping is an entertaining outing the whole family can enjoy when the Harvest Festival® Original Art & Craft Show comes to the Ventura County Fairgrounds Friday through Sunday, October 4-6th. The West Coast's largest and finest indoor craft showcase boasts 24,000 handcrafted, “Made in the USA” originals at affordable prices. Kids 12 and under are FREE and with a Kidzone with interactive play, jugglers, a pumpkin patch, face painting, strolling performers, live music, specialty foods, and more, there is plenty to do for all ages.Your “shoppertunity” starts with the discovery of hundreds of exhibits featuring ceramics, paintings, jewelry, hand blown glass, antique treasures, children’s accessories, hand woven clothing, photography, candles, woodwork, sculptures, ornaments, Halloween treasures, and more. Demonstrations also allow you to see creative works in progress. You can even get items personalized. From the Kidszone, where kids can tap into their creative talents and let their imaginations run wild with “make n’ take” arts & crafts fun, to a pumpkin patch perfect for fall photos, stage entertainment with the outlandish Skip Banks, and The Fables of the West comedy duo, among others, there’s plenty to add to the smiles. Best of all, if you don’t get your fill all in one day, tickets are good for the entire weekend so you can keep coming back for more!
*You can help yourself while helping others. Bring non-perishable food items for donation to Food Share of Ventura upon entry to the Festival to receive $2 off of your admission price. Adults are $9, Seniors $7, Youths (13-17) are $4 and Kids 12 and under are free.
