The Thousand Oaks Civic Arts Plaza

January 16, 2014
The Thousand Oaks Civic Arts Plaza is the largest performing arts venue between Los Angeles and San Francisco.

Stellar headliners run the spectrum from the contemporary to the classic, in addition to touring Broadway musicals, popular entertainers, award-winning children’s programs, international ballet, folk and modern dance companies, classical symphonic performances, chamber music, choral ensembles, civic light opera, comedy, distinguished speakers, films, magic, jazz, big band orchestras, and live theatre and community programs.

This March, The Joffrey Ballet, America's premier ballet company, returns to Thousand Oaks Civic Arts Plaza for the first time since 2011! Now with a permanent residence in Chicago, namesake of the late Robert Joffrey, the Ballet has a long list of "firsts" including the first dance company to perform at the White House, the first to appear on television and the first and only dance company to appear on the cover of TIME magazine. Although The Joffrey Ballet has been a force for over a half century, it is still one of the most sought after companies in the world today.
