A safe way for Kids to Celebrate Independence Day

Light Up Your 4th of July with Safe, No-Spark Sparklers! Are you looking for a fun and safe way to celebrate Independence Day? Our No-Spark Sparklers are the perfect solution for families, especially those living in fire-prone areas. These kid-friendly sparklers are ideal for young children or anyone who might be afraid of traditional fireworks. Enjoy a festive and worry-free 4th of July with this easy and creative craft!


No-Spark Sparkler Craft

Supplies Needed:

  • Small wooden dowels about 14 inches long
  • Wired star garland in solid or multiple colors - find at a discount or dollar store
  • Clear packing tape
  • Red or blue cardstock cut to 2 in by 1 1/2 in
  • Glue or glue dots
  • Scissors





 How to:

  1. For each sparkler that you make, cut wire garland into 10 pieces - Make 5 each of 6 in long and 8 in long
  2. Trim off the stars from the bottom of each piece about inch up
  3. Line the pieces up on the cardstock and tape down
  4. Then add glue dots to the dowel at the top where the paper will attach
  5. Attach the edge to the dowel and roll the remaining paper and wire around the dowel
  6. Secure the end with more glue or glue dots
  7. Once secure, arrange the wire garland to look like a sparkler
