We all know slow cookers are all the rage right now so here is a recipe to help get you started and share with friends!
What you need:
* 1 Can Light Red Kidney Beans (15oz)
* 1 Can Pinto Beans (15oz)
***do not drain, you will use the WHOLE can***
* 3oz tomato paste
* 1 Can Diced tomatoes (chili ready work best; they have spices added in already)
* 1 Whole Green Bell Pepper, diced
* 1/4 - 1/3 Sweet Onion (depends on how much you like onions!), diced
* 1/4 Cup Light Brown Sugar
* 1 tbsp White Chicken Chili Seasoning
* 12oz Boneless Skinless Chicken Breast, cubed (yes, raw)
* 1/2 Cup Water
What you do:
Super easy!
* Turn cooker on HIGH
* Combine ALL ingredients in the slow cooker, including the juices from the cans of beans
* Cook on HIGH for 2hrs, stirring each hour
* Turn cooker down to LOW
* Cook for an additional 4hrs... or as long as you need to. Once it hits this stage, it's really up to the chef on how long they want to cook your meal. :)
