Are you looking for a way to show your patriotic side? Bring these delicious red, white and blue strawberries to your next Independence day celebration this July 4th! They are easy enough to have the kids help too.
Patriotic - Strawberries
Ingredients:
- Fresh strawberries
- White chocolate chips
- Blue sprinkles
Directions:
- Wash and dry strawberries.
- Melt chocolate chips on the stove or in a microwave a few seconds at a time - stir so you don't burn the chocolate.
- Hold the green top and dip each strawberry half way in the melted white chocolate
- Immediately dip the tip of the strawberries into the blue sprinkles and lay on wax paper to harden.
- Refrigerate strawberries until chocolate is hardened.
Macaroni tip: Change up to colors for other holiday celebrations
