Even prior to meeting her, I knew Katie was a true professional. She confirms everything with you, has a guide to help you pick out clothes for the session (my least favorite part!) and has a very descriptive portrait agreement that pretty much spells out everything for you.
On the day of the session, Katie was prompt and ready to go. She even brought a couple of easy holiday props to use during the session which I was grateful for since I have been so busy lately that I haven't had a chance to get creative for our holiday photos (like I normally do!)
Now, let me explain something. My children, both 6, have a tendency to get a little crazy at things like this. They enjoy "showing off" for new people and that usually translates into craziness and not the best listening by them. Kaite was extremely patient (bless her heart!) with them and recognized when it was time to move on to a new setting or idea and when it was time to end the session. The kids warmed up to her right away and had fun with her (even if they were challenging for her!)
She has a great eye for light and created some beautiful pictures of our kids. Check out some of the final pictures below.
Katie has a great turnaround time so you aren't left wondering if you will ever see your pictures. Plus, with a couple of previews on Facebook, we got to see a few shots the same night as our session. It can't get much faster than that!
