Looking for an easy and fun craft for kids to do at home? The boys and I had fun making these Popsicle Stick American Flags for the 4th of July, but you can make them anytime you want to celebrate the red, white and blue. It was a pretty easy craft with not too much clean up. They got to paint and use glue so they were happy. The only tricky part are the stars so I ended up doing them because the boys got frustrated. If we make more, I'm going to get stickers.

Directions:
- Divide up your popsicle sticks
- Paint the sticks: For each flag you will need 3 red, 2 white whole sticks and 3 half blue sticks
- Let them dry - it shouldn't take to long
- Cut the blue sticks in half
- Lay out the red and white sticks like the flag, then flip them over and tape the back, I used clear packing tape.
- Glue the cut blue sticks to the red and white sticks
- Paint the stars on the blue sticks - or you could use stickers
