My husband is an amazing Father and I wrack my brain to try to come up with something that will show him how much we appreciate all he does for his family! I am so excited this year to have come up with a gift that I believe does just that!! I enlisted the help of a wonderfully talented photographer.
My mission was to capture my kids wearing their Dad’s shoes! These aren’t just any shoes though… my husband was in the Army and served in Iraq and I wanted a picture of my kids in his Army boots. It’s very important to me that my kids know what a hero their Daddy is!! One of my husband’s other passions growing up was dancing, so Julia is pictured in his tap shoes.
The pictures turned out better than I could have imagined and the results of this project are amazing.

SUPPLIES:
Daddy’s shoes
Camera
Frame
“Following in Your Footsteps” print out (I just printed in black and white, but I’m sure you can use colored paper or even scrapbook paper if you want a fancier look.)
PROCEDURE:
Put the kiddos in Daddy’s shoes and snap away!
Put the pictures in a frame with the wording in one slot and bring out the tissues!
