The Cornucopia Foundation’s Malibu Farmers Market, known as Malibu’s Towne Center is a foodie’s destination.
No stone is left unturned as we guarantee everyone will find something that appeals to the 5 senses. Our high caliber, diverse vendors are hand -picked and can participate by invitation only; this is a part of what makes our thriving Farmers’ Market so unique.
As huge advocates of giving back to the community, our customers know that whether they buy a tomato or hummus, when they buy we give back. Our profits are given to the causes we stand for such as animal rescue, wildlife, environmental outreach and children’s
environmental education. Always keeping in mind that the future of our planet is not by chance, but by choice…
Update and safety protocols at the Malibu Farmers Market
I recently spoke with founder, Debra Bianco and she gave me an update on all of the extra precautions they've been taking to keep everyone safe. Vendors are spaced at least eight feet apart, only vendors are touching items, masks are mandatory for everyone who visits, masks and gloves are mandatory for all vendors and you'll find over 40 hand washing stations with soap, water and paper towels spread throughout for your safety and convenience.
With so much space to spread out, there is no need for people to wait in a long line to get in, like some of the other local farmers markets I've been to lately, there is no waiting at the Malibu Farmers Market.
The Malibu Farmers Market has always been known as the Foodie destination, but now it will be known as the Safe food destination as well. With all these safety precautions the Malibu Farmers Market has to be just about the safest place to shop for you and your family. What could be more enjoyable after staying safer at home than heading out into the fresh air and sunshine, walking around while also shopping for some much needed fruits, vegetables and other food items as well as some tasty treats at the Malibu Farmers Market? Personally I love shopping outside at local farmers markets, I enjoy shopping for all the amazing fresh produce and other delicious items, especially fresh bread and super yummy pastries and other sweets I know my family will enjoy, plus chatting with all the vendors and learning about their items is another benefit. Seems like there is always something new, special in season produce or new vendors to explore. I find that taking my kids along gets them interested and excited about trying new and healthy foods, we all need to add more fresh produce to our diets to stay healthy, eat the rainbow! Also know that there are many pre-packaged food items for you to take with you and enjoy at home, maybe you need a break from cooking, but are tired of take out or better yet stop by the newly reopened Farmers Market Café for some delicious foods. Before you leave don't forget to pick up some beautiful, fresh flower bouquets to help make your home happy and bright!
With the recent public health concern in mind please note that Masks are required.
