I love Halloween, it's been one of my favorite holidays since I was little, from the cute and sweet to the spooky and scary, this definitely falls into the latter. I just recently found out about this local neighborhood creation and just had to share it with you. Every Halloween when I head out into the neighborhood with my kids to go Trick-or-Treating I'm always so impressed by the hard work many of our neighbors put into their decorations and costumes even if it's enjoyed for just a few hours on one night. This is just that, a Neighborhood home in Agoura Hills, it started with a teenage son several years ago who loved horror movies. His moms said he's loved horror films for as long as she can remember, Nightmare on elm street was his first. Jack is the mastermind behind this neighborhood creation, he's been doing it every year since the 7th grade, and he's now junior at the local High School. I'm sure he's been perfecting his craft more and more each year as he comes up with a new theme, can't wait to seen next years creation.
This years theme is Michael Meyers Halloween, although he tries to keep it child appropriate it's geared for an older audience this year, come by if you dare! Don't let the cute scarecrow with the smiling pumpkin head fool you, this adventure is not for the littles, even some adults run out screaming. You'll find the maze filled with live actors, loud effects and lighting effects. If you have one of those younger kids that love scary things you can come by, although it's geared for 12 and above but they will go less scary for the younger audience.
There is not charge to come and visit this neighborhood Halloween Maze. Jack's mom told me he is such a great kid and does this for the pure enjoyment of keeping busy and making people happy with his creations.
Come by and visit this Halloween Maze on Halloween Night Only
