Temple Ner Simcha is a temple with no dues or cost for High Holiday tickets or any program...so we need to have successful fundraising events like our annual Latke Launch on Dec 13. It's sort of like bingo: people purchase squares on a grid that is painted on a baseball outfield. Frozen latkes are launched with a giant slingshot, and if the latke lands on your square, you win a great prize like vacations to 5 star resorts like La Costa in Carlsbad and Red Rock Resort in Vegas; rounds of golf, and more.
It’s only $20 per square or $100 for six squares; and all donations are 100% tax deductible.

On Sunday, December 13, 2020, just as Judah and the Maccabees launched sling shots into battle, the Temple Ner Simcha community will gather together at the park to hurl frozen latkes into a pre-gridded field!
Participants purchase squares in the field. There will be several latke launches . . . and the squares the latkes land upon will determine the winners of our fabulous prizes.
