You can even try your hand at using a washboard… Who knew laundry could be so much fun?

In addition to the show, guests may enjoy our beautiful four-acre property, designated by the City of Thousand Oaks as Historical Landmark No. 1, built in 1876 as the Grand Union Hotel, the Stagecoach Inn Museum Complex boasts a one-room schoolhouse, Carriage House (stagecoaches), working Blacksmith Shop, Pioneer Home, California Adobe, Chumash Ap, Heritage Rose Garden, Nature Trail, and Heritage Farm Trail. Docents will bring to life through stories and demonstrations how life was for original settlers of the Conejo Valley and visitors will get a close-up view of furnishings and tools typically found in homes of the period, Additionally, for those wanting more information, several exhibits are augmented with new QR code signage, offering “Virtual Tour” video enhancements via smart phone.
