Celebrate this historic event with your children and watch together. Every four years, Washington DC hosts a big celebration to welcome a new president. This year is extra special, and we’re lucky to have the chance to witness this historic event with our families. Since kids are off from school due to the MLK holiday, it's the perfect opportunity to watch the inauguration together. The 20th Amendment says a president's term begins at noon EST on January 20, and it’s a great time to talk with your kids about democracy, leadership, and the peaceful transfer of power!
